Donor Mentors

Donor candidates who sign up for the donation process through the National Kidney Registry will have the option to work with a donor mentor.

A donor mentor is someone who has already gone through the living donation process and can explain how it works, answer questions, and offer insights based on their own donation experience. Connecting with a mentor is free and completely optional.
